I'm Thuy
(pronounced 'Twee')

I love going to art museums, being creative, learning new things, and oat milk lattes.

Living in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles has introduced me to many people from different walks of life. Coming from a small town in Alabama, I pride myself on being able to empathize with people who have various backgrounds. With UX, I strive to keep empathizing and advocating, for not only the user, but for people.

Behind the logo

The logo represents a t-pin used in apparel design.

A t-pin can be used to pin fabrics together to stabilize it or it can be used to pin print outs onto a cork board. The t-pin represents the process of iteration. It signifies the design process and how I can use ideas to stabilize and support a hypothesis. This represents my past career as an apparel designer but also my future career as a UX designer. I aim to use this as a reminder to keep iterating. The UX process is cyclical and always evolving.
